Why Meditate
What is Meditation?
Meditation is a process of exploring our inner stillness.
It is a way of moving beyond the activity in our mind, into a state of restful awareness.
Practiced for thousands of years, meditation is not about stopping your thoughts or keeping them from coming; it’s about finding the silence and stillness that’s already within us…a way to connect more deeply to an aspect of our true selves.
It is within this stillness that we find our happiness, creativity, balanced and vibrant lives.
Why Meditate?
The internal dialogue that goes on in our minds’ whirls around stories about our work, health, finances, family, to-do list’s and anticipations.
Most of the time we are not even aware, but our thoughts can cause us stress.
Over time, unmanaged stress and the accumulation of toxins leads to our bodies to respond differently by showing up with area symptoms, insomnia, anxiety, depression, weakened immunity or dis-ease.
Meditation is an antidote to our stress; it is a technology that benefits the body, mind and soul….providing us that restful awareness.
